Come and join us for a ride through the God's own County - the wonderful picturesque North Norfolk countryside!

The Railway operates a Timetable Service 7 days a week from March 18 until the end of October 2017

Special events will be taking place throughout the year - please check our newsletter for updates

FARES 2017

(no increase on 2016 prices!)

ADULT RETURN - £9.00,   CHILD RETURN - £7.00 
ADULT SINGLE - £7.50,   CHILD SINGLE - £5.50

Children 4 & under travel for free!

Card payment facilities are now available. The fares should be paid to the guard when you have boarded the train.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the stated departure time, as the train must leave on time to maintain punctual running to the published timetable.


Children 4 years of age & under travel free. Child fares apply from 5 to 15 years of age . 
'Special trains' are available for hire most evenings during the season. Timings are made to suit the hirer and it provides a really great and different evening out.

Group booking enquiries are very welcome and rates are negotiable.

Stations at Wells-Next-the-Sea (off A149 NR23 1QB) & Walsingham (Egmere Road NR22 6BT, carry on up the hill from the farm shop, we are 100 yards on the right)

LARGE 'OVERFLOW' CAR & COACH PARK OPERATIONAL AT WELLS STATION

 

Throughout the day refreshments are available from The Signal Box Cafe, with a wide range of home made rolls and sandwiches, cakes and biscuits, hot and cold drinks, and icecreams. Gift & souvenir shop also open. 

The "COASTHOPPER" bus service operated by NORFOLK GREEN, from KINGS LYNN to CROMER, passes the WELLS STATION entrance 7 days a week.


If requested the bus will drop off, or pick up passengers at the bus stop close to the station entrance. There is also a bus service from NORWICH (the X29) which goes to WELLS via FAKENHAM and the nearest stop to the railway is about 300 yards from the WELLS STATION entrance.
